Linking MAVCOM to IRG

Additional information linking the IRG to the Mavcom for Exercise Handshake

  • Link all Mavcom repeaters completely including VE1TCR

  • Once Mavcom is linked up the IRG system can be brought on line

  • Next the IRG should be all links on with tones #9173#

  • Then through the Sackville repeater to connect the Mavcom tones are 198#

  • Arrangements will be made for an operator close to Sackville to link the IRG

  • Mike VE1ZB, Mike VE9MTV or operators in the Amherst/Moncton area are able to do this.

  • At the conclusion the IRG can be brought down first using All Links Off 199#

  • Then net control can down link the Mavcom repeaters
