As of 12:01 a.m. Sunday, August 10, all Crown land in the province will close due to an extreme wildfire hazard.
As a result of extremely dry and dangerous conditions, the closure of Crown land will see all industrial and recreational activities prohibited on Crown land. We are also encouraging private landowners to take the same precautions. People currently at camps on Crown land are encouraged to leave by midnight. In addition, people are also being asked to avoid using private wood lots and woods roads.

Water levels expected to reach flood stage in northwestern area by early next week
FREDERICTON (GNB) – 14 April 2023 -- Water levels in rivers are increasing throughout the province from continuous snow melt, and Saint-Hilaire is forecast to reach flood stage by Tuesday, April 18.
Residents living or working in areas prone to localized flooding are reminded to be aware and take the proper precautions to safeguard their homes and possessions.

FREDERICTON (GNB 24 February 2022) – The provincial government will remove all remaining COVID-19 mandatory measures on March 14. In addition, effective Monday, Feb. 28, at 12:01 a.m., organizations and businesses will no longer be required to enforce proof of vaccination for entry.

Exercise Synergy Challenge 2021 on October 6 & 7
Surprise EMO Exercise Net Held
An impromptu EMO Exercise Net was hold at 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021, the one-year anniversary of the EMO declaring a state of emergency as a result of the Covd-19 pandemic.
Dennis VE9AAE reported 45 participants checking in on VHF and Al VE1RG reported 12 checking in on 3.730 on 80 m. During the net, an e-mail was sent to all those on the IRG contact list to alert them of the ongoing net.
Telephone system interruption - resolved
Latest reports indicate that this situation has been resolved. The interruptions did not affect the IRG repeater system.
