This is a reminder that the Annual General Meeting of the International Repeater Group (IRG) has been set for Sunday, May 3, 2026 at the Anglican Church Hall, 327 Route 8, Doaktown, NB. The meeting starts at 2:00 pm, but come early to socialize! We'll provide the coffee and a lunch at the conclusion of the meeting, but feel free to bring your own favourite food.
We'll have a special presentation by the UNB Engineering team: "Tracking NASA Artemis II Mission to the Moon". The team of faculty and students are all amateur radio operators (and some IRG members!) who will give insights into what it takes to track signals to the moon and back, and answer some of your questions on their unique part in the NASA mission and satellite launches. You can get some background in this recent news article.
Since this is the AGM, election of officers will be held. If you or someone you know is interested in nomination as an officer of the IRG, you can see more officer nominating details here.
For more detailed agenda items and a direction map to the location, visit this page at the IRG web site.
