Repeater linking restored

Update as of 3:00 pm, Friday December 03:

Interim repairs and testing have been completed and the IRG repeater link controllers are back in operation.  Although the problem appears to have been fixed, there may be intermittent issues still to be resolved, but linking appears to be operational.

If anyone encounters a cycling key-up or interference on any of the zones or repeaters, please feel free to submit a report to help in our efforts to track down any further issues not yet resolved.  Use the Contact Form on this web site and submit as much information as you can, such as time, repeater, type of noise heard, audio issues, whether similar signals are heard on a local input frequency, etc.  Everything helps, and the more detail the better.

One other reminder - please don't key up a repeater or link up without identifying yourself.  Users like to know if there's a person there, or if it's a system problem.  Besides, the regulations require you to identify your transmissions in the prescribed manner.

Special thanks to the folks at DTI Radio Communications Branch, in particular Nick VE9MP and Gino VE9GM for their efforts in testing and troubleshooting.
