Dept of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) Radio Communications Branch has upgraded the old MSR2000 crystalled repeater to a modern MTR2000 repeaters at the Fairfield site, Sackville area. Thanks go out to Nick VE9MP and Russel VE9REW for their work on this.
The Fairfield site houses the Sackville VE9SKV (145.230) repeater which is part of the East Zone, always linked to Moncton VE1MTN and Acadieville VE9ACD (145.430) repeaters. The Fairfield site also houses the IRG link to Nova Scotia using a Vertex VXR-5000 repeater.
